Here's a couple fat pre-spawn NC muskies I got back in Feb. They were the first of the year for me and got them both in the 8 on a grandma. The first(the terrible pic) was about 45'' and got her in the pouring rain/sleet. Finally figured out why my self timed pics are turning out bad: focusing on closer objects. Anyways, the other was about 40'' and my buddy got some great photos of that fish. They went into the rivers to spawn early this year from the warm weather.

Sweet fish with nice full bellies. I've struggled with the auto timer on solo photos before.  Can't wait for May when they come back hungry.

In the past, I have taken some awesome selftimed photos of muskies, in other waterways. However, it seems I cannot get a good self timed pic of these fish in this waterway! Its like its some kind of curse!!!!

Warm as the weather is you might not have to wait until May! Good luck and hope you nail a porker on that fly rod!
